Starters

  • Melon, beetroot and walnuts with a carrot, raisin and orange salad
    finished with an avocado dip. (Vegan, (N) contains nuts)
  • Chicken liver pate
    with pickles, Melba toast and Cumberland sauce. (can be Gluten free on request)
  • Leek and potato soup
    with croutons. (Can be gluten free on request)
  • Warm camembert and broccoli tart
    with a Bramley apple chutney.

Main Courses

  • Chicken and mushroom pie
    chunky chips, seasonal vegetables
  • Lambs liver
    with colcannon mash ,peas a la Francoise, onion sauce.(G)
  • Poached cod
    on a bed of crushed new potatoes , chive, diced tomato sauce. (G)
  • Slowly cooked beef
    horseradish mash, Yorkshire pudding, cauliflower cheese
  • Aubergine filled
    with leeks, vegan cheese and pumpkin, served on a bed of pilaf rice, cumin sauce

Desserts

  • Vanilla pannacotta
    salted caramel ice -cream. (G)
  • Cranachan
    toasted oats, berries and cream, topped with honey. (can be vegan on request)
  • Treacle tart
    served with fresh cream
  • Apple, pear and plum crumble
    with custard
  • With all tables of 8 or more we would require a non-refundable deposit of £5.00 per person and a pre-order of your menu choices, two weeks prior to your booking.
  • Please note a 10% service charge will be added to tables of 8 or more.
