Begin with a glass of French house wine (red or white available) Start with homemade bread, olive oil and balsamic vinegar – French onion soup with a cheese crouton

4 course French inspired meal with a glass of wine on arrival - £26.50pp

Starters

  • Twice baked cheese souffle
    with blackcurrant compote
  • Smoked salmon
    and poached egg with crème fraiche, flavoured chives and lemon
  • Moules mariniere
    served with crusty bread
  • Duck and pork pate
    with orange, pickles and Melba toast

Main Course

  • Poulet Breton
    – a velouté sauce with julienne leeks, celery, carrots
  • Minute Steak
    – and poivre, with crisp garlic roast potatoes and mixed salad
  • Cassoulet
    – rich, slow-cooked stew on a bed of haricot beans, sausage, carrots, onions, topped with a confit of duck
  • Roasted squash and cheese roulade
    coated in mixed nuts served with Provençale sauce and asparagus
  • Grilled seabass
    served with Parmenter potatoes, peas a la francaise, and asparagus
All main courses are served with a selection of potatoes and vegetables.
